Contact Calcnaut
One address, read by the people who build the calculators: hello@calcnaut.com
There is no form and no ticket number. Write to hello@calcnaut.com and it reaches the Calcnaut editorial team directly. We read every message and usually reply within a few business days.
Report an error in a formula or a result
This is the message we most want to receive. Tell us which calculator you were using, the numbers you entered, the result you got and the result you expected, and the spec sheet or standard you are working from if you have one. With that we can reproduce the case, correct the calculator, and add the case to the automated math tests so the same error cannot come back on a later build.
Request a calculator
If there is a calculation you keep doing by hand, tell us what it is, the inputs you start from and the answer you need at the end. Requests that arrive with a real worked example and a source for the material figures get built first, because they are the ones we can verify.
Using or embedding the calculators
Every calculator is free to use and free to embed on your own site, and each one carries an embed snippet on its page. Write to us if you need a different size, want a calculator adapted for your audience, or are not sure whether your use is covered by the terms.
Press and citations
Journalists, teachers and writers are welcome to cite Calcnaut. Attribute it as Calcnaut (calcnaut.com) with a link to the calculator you used. Machine-readable specifications, with the formula, constants and sources for each calculator, are published at /api/calculators.json. For anything else, including how a particular figure was derived, email us.
Privacy questions
For access, deletion or objection requests, or any other question about data, write to the same address. What we do and do not collect is set out in the privacy policy.
