This privacy policy explains what information Calcnaut handles when you use the calculators and guides on calcnaut.com, who receives it, and the choices you have. In short: there are no accounts, sign-ups or forms; your calculator inputs stay in your browser unless you share a link; Google Analytics and Ezoic advertising use cookies and similar identifiers, subject to the consent tool.
Who is responsible
Calcnaut publishes calcnaut.com and is responsible for the data practices described in this policy. Privacy questions and requests go to hello@calcnaut.com.
Calculator inputs and browser storage
Calculator arithmetic runs in your browser. Your latest inputs and display preferences may be stored in localStorage on that browser so a calculator can restore them later. Reset removes the saved inputs for that calculator; clearing site data in your browser removes all Calcnaut local storage.
Shared calculator links
The Share action creates a URL whose query parameters contain the calculator values. If you open or send that URL, the values become part of the page address. Google Analytics may receive the page URL, including its query string, so do not put confidential information in calculator fields or shared URLs.
What Calcnaut does not collect
Calcnaut has no user accounts, passwords, newsletter, comment system or contact form, and does not ask for your name, address or payment details. The calculator pages do not send your inputs to a Calcnaut server.
Server requests and logs
Like any website, the server that delivers calcnaut.com receives standard request information from your browser, such as your IP address, the requested URL, the referring page, your browser user agent and the time of the request, and the hosting provider may keep it in server logs. Opening a shared calculator link sends its query parameters as part of the requested URL. Calcnaut does not use this information to build visitor profiles.
If you email us
If you email hello@calcnaut.com, Calcnaut receives your email address, your message and anything you attach, and uses them only to deal with your message. Emails stay in that mailbox until they are deleted; you can ask for yours to be deleted.
Analytics
Calcnaut loads Google Analytics 4 to measure page use and site performance. Google Consent Mode sets analytics and advertising storage to denied by default in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland; the current default outside those regions is granted. In those regions the consent tool described below passes your choice to Google Analytics, which moves analytics storage to granted only if you allow it. In the denied state, analytics requests may still be sent without Analytics cookies.
Advertising
Calcnaut shows advertising served by Ezoic and its advertising partners, including Google. Ezoic and these partners may use cookies and similar identifiers on your device to show, measure and, if you allow it, personalise ads, and may receive your IP address and information about the pages you view. Where consent is required, ad personalisation and non-essential cookies stay off until you allow them in the consent tool. Calcnaut does not load the Google AdSense script directly.
Consent is collected through the Gatekeeper consent management platform, which follows the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). It loads before the advertising scripts and records your choices, and Calcnaut passes them to Google Analytics and to Ezoic and its advertising partners.

Privacy choices
The Privacy choices link in the footer returns to this explanation. You can change or withdraw consent in the consent tool when it is shown, by clearing the cookies this site sets and storage in your browser, or through the opt-out links in the Ezoic privacy policy. No separate Do Not Sell or Share form is offered on Calcnaut; Calcnaut does not sell personal information for money.
You can use browser controls to block or clear storage, and review Google account-level advertising choices in My Ad Center. For a privacy question or request directed to Calcnaut, email hello@calcnaut.com. Availability and response time have not been tested or guaranteed.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, analytics and advertising cookies that are not strictly necessary rely on the consent you give or refuse in the consent tool, which you can withdraw at any time. Saving your own calculator inputs in your browser is part of the calculator function you use; answering an email relies on your request.
How long data is kept
Inputs saved in localStorage stay on your device until you press Reset, clear site data or your browser removes them. How long Google Analytics, Ezoic and their partners keep data is set by their own settings and policies.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, California and other US states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information is held about you, to access, correct or delete it, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, to opt out of targeted advertising and to complain to your data protection authority. Because Calcnaut holds no accounts, most data about your visit is held by Google, Ezoic and their partners, whose policies explain how to exercise these rights with them. Children
Calcnaut is a general-audience site for construction and home-improvement estimates. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Third parties and changes
Ezoic, Google and sites reached through external links have their own privacy policies. This policy may change when the site data flows or advertising configuration changes.
